Tirbal Nails

HEY GIRLS!

So Today i wanted to do something different to my nails! i know that having really cute nail designs are  really instyle right now! But for some reason or another i have yet to do it! Maybe its because im a hair stylist and everytime i paint my nails it never even last a day! Nevertheless i wanted to do something fun and different today! So i was inspired by one of the girls i work with! our nail tech actually! She is amazing at what she does! She posted a picture the other day on her instagram and had done this really cool tribal design to her nails! I loved them so much i wanted to see if i could recreate them myself! it really wasn't to hard! (not that mine look as good as hers) haha but i just used some really cool colors i already had! The only thing i bought was one of those nail polishes with the really skinny long brush in black! ($2.99) Ok so here is a picture of what i did to my nails today! 

haha so maybe they are not as good as what you see on pinterest and what not but im proud of myself!  Considering i have no practice in nail art! anyways i went to the movies today and already had several people compliment them! :)

BOUTIQUE MODEL

Hey girls!

so it has defiantly been a while since i have written a new post. But hopefully ill get back into the swing of things!!! So i have been making lots of new Youtube video tutorials on hair and makeup and fashion! i started modeling for this new boutique called Hardt Boutique and they have got some of the cutest outfits i have ever seen! im going to show you some of the outfits and let me know what you guys think of them! i love them!!!

My hair.

Hey girlies,

 HAPPPYYYY THANKSGIVING!

so i have gotta a couple comments between this site and my youtube asking if i would show you some pictures of my hair color, and also tell you how i created this ombre look and what color i used! I hate when i see someones hair color, fall in love with it, then comment on there video on how they got it to look the way it does and no one ever replies -_-   so trust me i will never EVER do that! if you  have a question about ANYTHING just ask and i will reply within that week!

 ok so on to the hair. I have whats called Ombre hair. which is where it is darker at the root and gradually gets lighter at the bottom. (great for a low maintaince girl, the more root you have the better it looks) I had been wanting to change my hair up for a while, but i was scared i wouldnt like it, and then it would be so damaging to go back blonde! ok so my hair was platinum blonde before i did this. let me show you a before pictue. 

I have been blonde since i was born so thats what i am comftorable with! But i was getting so bord with it and wanted to do something different! So what i did was this, i used Aveda color (oh im a professional hair stylist so yeah...dont try this at home) the formula i used was, 20g6N + 20g7N + 1g o/r + 3g y/o + 1g v/b and 40g CTA. i used a demi not a permanent color. and i died my extensions with a 7gold from joico (they looked almost identical to my Aveda color) anyways, i put the color on my roots all over my entire head. Then i went back through and took like 1 inch sections and half way down my hair shaft i back combed (teased) it. i painted the color on the top half of the tease and half way covering the teased part. and i painted the ends with regular conditioner. see since my hair was already blonde there was no need to go over my ends with bleach! i just put conditioner on them so they would stick to the foil. so yes i painted my hair on the foil as if i was highlighting my hair. then placed another foil on top of that section so i wouldnt have to bend the foil in half! or else the color would have got on my ends. you have to apply a TON of color doing it this way so the hair gets completly saturated! then you want to leave on to process 30 minutes and rinse with cool water! ( your stylist should know what to do so dont worry about remebering all of this haha) so let me show you how my hair turned out! I LOVE IT! 

So since i have used a demi on it, it has already faded out a good bit but it still looks good and very natural. Anywho, how do you like my hair? do you like it better blonde, or this dark blonde color? or do you think i should do something different? Let me know because it is a love hate relationship between me and my hair! haha

Omg, i must go shoppinggg! 

so lately i have been really inspired by a lot of fashion photos! No, like seriously, i am obsessed. My Fiance and I were out looking at cameras tonight just so i can start to take my own fashion photos lol. I really am going to start looking for key pieces to put into my wardrobe. Its funny cause I'm like, "i am going to spend a little extra on really nice pieces that will last me a long time". But me being the tight wad i am; i go shopping, find a really nice jacket, and say uhhh that's a little to much, then run into forever 21 and pick up a look a like. ha ha. oh well i cant help it! Maybe one day i will actually do what i say i am going to do!

Anyways, let me show you some of the photos that i am inspired by! I love all of these outfits, and they really describe my style! I am defiantly a girl that likes to look like i through something together that happens to look fabulous. I like to look natural, casual, but still chic and sexy!

photoshoot sneak peak!

hey beauties,

So this past Sunday i went and did some hair for a photo shoot! It turned out awesome! The theme was holiday party, so we created a look that is unique and different to set you apart from the others this holiday season! Our models were lookin' and feelin' hot! I got a hold of some of the photos, so i will show you all how it turned out!

Love the texture and braids in the hair. Braids are really in this season, so don't be shy; step out of the box and create something unique and different! Trust me i am sure you will get lots of compliments on it, even if you feel a little out of your comfort zone! That's what fashion is anyways right? Dare to be different and feel sexy doing it! That's how you can start a trend!

So i was told about this new site called penterist the other day! Ever since i have been obsessed. I look at fashion hair and makeup pictures all day long; and read blogs! Anyways i started to think hey, i could totally write a blog and post things that i love! so here i am, writing away. Let me introduce myself since i am new here. My name is Ashley. (that's me in the photo above the "BE BEAUTIFUL" sentence at the top of my page) i am 20 years old, and I'm am a hair stylist and love working on photo shoots and doing peoples hair and making them feel beautiful.
